Today’s mindfulness
Today’s mindfulness, taking 5 minutes out of my walk to just sit and watch the ducks.
Walking brings calmness and peace to my chaotic mind.
It reminds me to breathe.
It reminds me to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
There are some days I walk with a clear mind.
Other days I become so overwhelmed with memories I cry.
Some days my mind is so chaotic I have to listen to a podcast to try and get out of my head and most days when I reach the top of the hill, I scream at the world.
But, with every step I take, I’m constantly reminded that I am still alive and I need to breathe.
