Raising awareness at South West Police Conference

Today, at the invitation of District Superintendent Geoff Stewart, I had the absolute honour of being a guest speaker at the South West OIC Police Conference in Bunbury.

It’s been an emotional day, to say the least.

To speak to these incredible people who serve our community every day, knowing all too well how much road trauma affects them was daunting.

I shared with them a video of my beautiful boy Jack and then introduced Heart Hub South West, the progress we’ve made in getting the hub off the ground and our vision moving forward.

I can’t explain the feeling that today has brought but the support and emotion I felt in the room was so comforting. It was lovely to speak to all the Officers after my presentation and I look forward to working alongside them in the future.

Geoff, thank you for the opportunity to speak today and for your continued support, it’s so greatly appreciated and thank you to the committee who came to stand beside me today as we venture out on the next chapter of Heart Hub South West.
