Forever 14 Fundraiser

There are no words to describe the pain and sadness the entire family feels. It’s devastating, and only those who have experienced it can fully understand.

It’s through tragedy of road trauma I’ve met the Cross family, a family who tragically lost their beautiful Sammy Boy on our roads in 2021.

Sammy was only 14 years old.

While navigating their way through their own grief and loss, this selfless family wanted to help us make a difference in the lives of other families also living with the immeasurable loss of a loved one from road trauma.

This was the beginning of the Forever 14 Fundraiser.

In honour of Sammy, they designed a logo ~ Forever 14 Sammy Boy ~ and on Sammy’s first anniversary they had hats made with Sammy’s logo and sold over 500 raising $6516.50!! Along with this came another $2090 of donations through our website in memory of Sammy.

This year Sammy’s Socks were the Forever 14 Fundraiser and wow!!! Another $5118.50 was raised and a big donation of $1500 was received.

There really aren’t enough words, tears, or hugs to show our appreciation to Craig and his family but from the bottom of our hearts, Scott, Tayla, Heart Hub South West and I are so thankful and grateful for everything they do to help support us.

To the amazing Cross family, I love you guys, you have become family to me and hold a very special place in my heart. I just wish you didn’t have to live without your Sammy Boy.
